Nikolaos Smit

I am interested in the evolution of social and mating systems and the boundaries between competition and cooperation. I usually use long-term, individually-based, behavioural and life-history data to study questions of social evolution. In NetResilience, I study how the changes of kin networks through time influence human survival and reproduction.
